Office Partitions & Screens for Modern Workspaces

Maybe you need a proper meeting room. Maybe the open plan is getting noisy and people can’t concentrate. Maybe the business has grown and the layout that worked two years ago doesn’t anymore.

Whatever’s prompted it, office partitioning is usually the most practical place to start. It lets you create defined spaces – meeting rooms, quiet zones, screened-off areas, glazed offices – without the cost or disruption of structural building work.

We’re Source One Consulting, a family-run commercial interiors business rooted in East Anglia. We’ve been supplying and installing office partitions, glazed wall systems and screens since 2002. We work with offices, professional practices, healthcare sites, schools and industrial units, mostly across East Anglia but further afield too when clients need us.

We’re not a faceless national contractor. You’ll deal with the same small team from first conversation to finished job, and we’ll be straight with you about what’s needed and what isn’t.

Create Defined Workspaces With Partitioning & Screens

What we install

  • Glazed wall partitions

The most popular choice for offices that need defined rooms without losing natural light. Glazed partitions create proper meeting rooms, private offices or reception areas while keeping the space feeling open and connected.

They can be fitted with integrated blinds, acoustic glazing or etched manifestation if you need more privacy or want to add something distinctive. They work well as a standalone installation and just as well as part of a wider refurbishment.

  • Bi-fold and sliding partition systems

Useful where a space needs to flex throughout the day. A training room that becomes a breakout area. A large meeting space that splits into two smaller ones. Bi-fold and sliding systems let you change the layout quickly without permanent walls.

  • Office pods and booths

When you can’t build a room but need somewhere private for calls, focused work or small meetings, a pod or booth is often the answer. They go in with minimal disruption and can be relocated if your needs change.

  • Office screens and desk dividers

A practical, lower-cost option for reducing visual distraction and giving people a bit more definition around their workspace. Free-standing or desk-mounted, they make a real difference in open-plan environments without any building work at all.

  • 5. A More Professional Working Environment

Well-designed partitioning helps create a more organised, purposeful workspace. Defined areas improve how staff move through the office and how visitors experience your business.

From client-facing reception areas to internal meeting rooms, partitions help create a workspace that feels considered, professional and fit for purpose.

Office Partitioning & Screens

Where partitions often lead

A lot of our partition projects start as one thing and quietly become something bigger. That’s not something we push, it’s just what tends to happen when a space starts working properly.

You get the meeting room sorted and realise the rest of the office needs a refresh. The glazing goes in and it shows up how tired the flooring looks. The layout improves and now you want to think about furniture and lighting.

We’re set up to help with all of it – office refurbishments, fit-outs, flooring, ceilings, furniture, power and data, kitchens, the whole project if needed. But we’re equally happy to just do the partitions and leave you to it. No pressure either way.

If the noise is the main issue, that’s worth a separate conversation. Glazing and acoustic partitioning can help significantly, but we also offer a dedicated noise reduction service that looks at the wider picture. You can find out more on our workplace acoustics page.

How it works with us

We keep it simple. You get in touch, we come and look at the space, we talk through what you’re trying to achieve and give you an honest view of the options. No hard sell, no jargon, no three-week wait for a quote.

Once we’re aligned on what’s needed, we manage everything – product specification, installation, coordination with your building or facilities team if there is one. We work around your business where we can, keeping disruption to a minimum.

Most partition installations are completed quickly. Even larger glazed wall projects rarely need more than a few days on site.

Our wider team are reaping the benefits of a top class, modern and professional working environment

Source One Consulting team

A bit about us

Source One has been a family business since 2002. Lisa and the team are rooted in East Anglia and have built long-standing relationships with clients across the region… Ipswich, Norwich, Cambridge, Colchester, Chelmsford and plenty of places in between, as well as further afield when the project calls for it.

We’re small enough to stay personal and responsive. We’re experienced enough to know how to manage a project properly. And we’re honest enough to tell you when something isn’t necessary.

The suppliers and installers we work with are people we’ve used for years. That matters more than it sounds – it means fewer problems, better communication and work that gets done properly the first time.

Projects where partitioning featured

Each one shows partitioning working as part of a broader project, or as the catalyst for one. Worth a look if you want to see the kind of work we do.
